Three scenes from Billy Wilder’s film, The Apartment (1960) are reenacted. It is a story about Bud, who has fallen in love with his Boss’s mistress, Fran. The actors are acting Bud and Fran, but in the end, they are merely actors who wish to become them. The camera focuses on the actors’ faces. Through that the film’s illusion is unveiled and we come face to face with the film’s true nature.
